About Us

The GSB Parivaru (GSBP), Uttarahalli has been a brainchild of Philanthropist, Educationist and Academicians was launched on 02.10.2011. The very purpose of establishing GSBP is serving the public especially downtrodden and needy people by mobilizing funds from potential donors in the field of education, social commitments, old age people and also cater to the call of Central and State governments. The initial handholding has been done by a few individuals in the matter of mobilizing membership, funds and conduct of both religious and social activities as GSBP had no other financial support and membership base.

Proposed Convention Center

BDA has allotted 1,905 Sq.Mtrs (about 22,000 Sq. ft equal to half an acre) of land under Civil Amenities (C A) scheme after several attempts. The allotment is on lease basis and is for a lease period of 30 years which will be renewed after that. As per the conditions of allotment we have to first build a Community Hall and subsequently we can utilize the balance allotted land for any other purposes meant for welfare of the GSB community.

The project report once ready need to be sent to BDA for their prior approval. We will be able to construct about over 80,000 sqft building in the allotted land. This being the first of such allotment to our community in Bangalore we need to come out with a model project which may help in our co-organizations to approach government for allotment of land for the welfare of the community. In this background a building committee would be formed by involving community bandhavas with domain and expert knowledge to guide successful implementation of the project.

Our goal is to convert the project as a Social and Cultural Head Quarters at Bangalore which can contribute to the well being of our community members. The tentative plan is to own a School, Samudaya Bhavan, a Temple, Old age Home, Library, Medical Centre, Yoga Centre, Hostel for economically weaker students of the community and any other related structures as permitted under BDA allocation and as guided by Building Committee, approved by our Managing Committee and cleared by Annual General Body. It is our endeavour to serve community members of all age groups for present and in future. The final plan and expected budget estimates are being worked in this regard.

We are confident that this dream project would become a reality with the whole hearted support and co-operation from all our GSB Community bandhavas not only in Bengaluru but also from all parts of our land and abroad to meet the BDA deadline as per schedule. This being a preliminary stage, we are able to share only the limited information. We shall update the members as and when all legalities, approvals, project drawings etc. are finalized. No effort and amount is small and any support is worthwhile in achieving this dream mile stone project which will be another jewel for our community in Bengaluru.
